hello everybody, i got the following problem using ehci-hcd: i just bought a external hdd and connected it using usb. it was recognized by the kernel and i could access it like a scsi device. so everything went fine that far. but the speed was very low and then i saw that only usb-uhci was loaded. so i recompiled my kernel with ehci-hcd support and then everything went fine, too. but suddenly, when i tryed to get more traffic on the hdd it just hung up. i tried to do it about 10 times and i even recompiled the kernel without uhci support because i thought there might be a run or so but it still doesn't work with usb2. could you please help me with that, if you can, because i searched about the whole internet to find a sollution but i didn't. thanks for your help... bastian ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PC: Gericom Hummer FX 5600 Laptop P4 @ 3.06GHz 512mb ddr 60gb hdd NVidia GForce FX 5600 Intel motherboard Kernel: 2.6.3, 2.6.4-rc1, 2.4.22-gentoo, 2.4.25
