This patch fixes a bug in ftdi_sio.c where the driver wouldn't unlink the read urb if the user application cleared the HUPCL flag on termios->c_cflag.
Looks fine, except that the depth of filename was wrong.
I don't have much experience in submitting patches (this is probably the third patch I submitt).
I followed the instructions on Documentation/SubmittingPatches to produce the diff for a single file.
After you mentioned this, I went back to the instructions on "SubmittingPatches" and realised that they would produce different path depths for the "single file" case and the "multiple file" case.
This happens in both 2.4 and 2.6 instructions.
Should I make the diff in a way that it includes the kernel directory in the future, or follow the instructions on "SubmittingPatches", or send a patch to correct "SubmittingPatches" (what path should I use for this?) :)
Any advice is appreciated, as I'm just starting to "lend a hand" in the 2.6 debug process.
It is safe to take any time. If Greg misses it, I'll resend after 2.4.26.
Thanks for the help,
