I assume this patch is for 2.6.x.  I should have mentioned I've been
running on 2.4.  This patch doesn't fully apply although several chunks
do apply.  I'll take a closer look at it.

I forgot to mention.  I have done this.  Here is the linux information. 
Not a lot there though.  Also nothing new comes up when the device is
plugged in to a host.  The only messages I get is when the module is
entered.

Doesn't seem to work either, but I guess I need to spend some more time
on this.

Windows also keeps saying that a high speed device has been plugged into
a full speed hub.  This is a high speed not a full speed device.  I
don't know where Windows comes up with this.
