There used to be a bug in the uhci implementation which showed up when using slab debugging: the memory for a transfer descriptor could still be in use by the host controller after the uhci driver had freed it. Slab debugging meant that the memory was filled with some special rubbish values when it was freed. This would cause the host controller to barf. The final result was a -EILSEQ.
