Greetings,
on a related issue: /proc/asound/cards does not list the USB
Soundcard, although dmesg knows about it. How is that? It only shows
the build in VIA chip.
$ cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [V8235 ]: VIA8233 - VIA 8235
VIA 8235 at 0xe000, irq 177
$ cat /proc/asound/version
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.4 (Mon May 17
14:31:44 2004 UTC).
Compiled on Sep 14 2004 for kernel 2.6.8.1-2-386.
I'm baffled ... and lost.
