I am having difficulty imagining an SMP embedded device. Perhaps it's one
of those single-chip Broadcom thingies which they bought from some startup,
I forgot its name. It was supposed to be used mainly in routers. It may be
feasible just to run them UP if that's a problem. Might fix a few other
problems, too.
