Hi I'm facing problem of opening USB device file (/dev/usb/ttyUSB0) when I'm not as a root.
After loading usbserial driver, I'm using application called Kermit to test USB device communication. For that I try to open device file, and when I'm as a root user it works fine, otherwise it says "can't open device" message. Even I checked device file permissions, but that is all fine. Same device file works with normal c application. But with Kermit its not working. Could you please tell us what needs be done?
