Of course i've started my work with isp3163 searching this list,
but I found no driver for 2.6 supports all features that original
one does.
I found and tested ohci-isp1362 one, but there is no support for
DMA and OTG.
Really? At one point, I thought it only supported DMA (in which
case I was wrong). However, that's not the best solution. It's
more complicated, and will not see much support on these lists
anymore.
Sorry. Maybe we're talking about different drivers, i've testet driver
signed:
isp1362.c head:
/*-------------------------------------------------------------------------*
* ISP1362 USB HCD for Linux Version 0.8 (10/20/2003)
*
* requires isp1362-hcd.[hc] (an "hc_simple" like generic HCD frontend)
*
* based on hc_simple v0.8 for ISP1162 by
* Roman Weissgaerber - [EMAIL PROTECTED] (C) 2001
* Troy Kisky - [EMAIL PROTECTED] (C) 2003
*
* modified for ISP1362 by
* Jeff Lackey - [EMAIL PROTECTED] (C) 2003
*
* also based on
* Philips HCD (Host Controller Driver) for USB v.1.1
* SYARRA - Philips 2003
* which is itself based on linux 2.4.5 Host Controller driver (GPL)
.....
Lothar just posted his driver, and I'll take a look at it right
away. Neither drivers support OTG. Neither do ISO transfers.
That sounds good, i'll also try using this driver.
But my goal is to support OTG host/client side.
Please tell me Your (anyone welcome) recomendation:
Is it better to follow Lothar's work, or to dig into Philip's code???
For now i've modified only hal code, to check register access.
Good luck!
Thank You for help.
