Ah, ok, I think this should be fixed in 2.6.12-rc4.  Could you test it
there to see if it is or not?  And also try the latest -mm tree.

There were some patches to fix this that were floating around, and I
don't think I got them all in the tree, it would be good to figure this
out.

And it makes me feel better it's not a usbserial bug :)
