You know, I just grab the latest code with GIT so I don't even remember any more ... :) But if you start with 2.6.11 you should be able to run scripts/patch_kernel and have it automate everything for you. In this case the latest GIT snapshots have a useful advantage: they merge the new IDE driver model changes, so "cardctl eject" of a CF card will no longer oops. No more 'mystery-ide.patch"!
