You can also use usbfs to disconnect USB drivers.  But what you really
need to do is destroy the struct usb_device.  Currently there's no way to
do this.

Also note that powering off ports, while it should work okay on external
hubs, will not work at all on most root hubs (and definitely not on UHCI
root hubs).
