Are you positive no one with usb.org ties reads this mailing list?

What you are doing is against the usb orginization a group that has been
very friendly and supportive of Linux and other open source operating
systems.  I say just find a friendly company to donate a number if you
really need it.  Don't just obviously thumb your nose at them, it's rude
and unprofessional.
