Hi, I am a French student, newbie in kernel hacking/device drivers writing. I have to add one feature to custom board(SHIX, a SH4 based card) : usb host capability. On the board, there is an sl811HS, and the sl811-hcd seems to compile (with a 2.6.10 it does and i'm trying with a 2.6.15). But I still have a big question : where do I set the memory mapping up ? (ie where do I say to the system: for usb access, write on that memory area 0x...).
I hope you understand my question and you will be able to help me, I have been looking for that address since 2 weeks... For information, the main peripheral of the sh4 is a stratix fpga, which decodes addresses and connects the other peripherals to the sh4.
