V4L2 was not enabled.
Testing was done on a Dell Latitude D610 notebook with a Pentium-M
CPU and 2 GB RAM.  Linux 2.6.17-rc1.

App testing summary;

camorama-0.17:  failed: requested dimensions are too small

camstream-0.26.3:  mostly works, occasional segfaults

gqcam-0.9:  mostly works, some segfaults

xawtv 3.94-7:  very weird image displayed (image is chopped and
        repeated about 4 times)
