Problem Description:
  When running "lsusb -v", zd1211rw receives a USB disconnect (lsusb without
verbose seems okay).  Logs show:
Oct  1 16:00:20 george kernel: usb 1-6: USB disconnect, address 3
Oct  1 16:00:20 george kernel: zd1211rw 1-6:1.0: error ioread32(CR_REG1): -22
Oct  1 16:00:20 george avahi-daemon[2430]: Interface eth1.IPv4 no longer
relevant for mDNS.
Oct  1 16:00:20 george avahi-daemon[2430]: Leaving mDNS multicast group on
interface eth1.IPv4 with address 10.0.0.25.
Oct  1 16:00:20 george avahi-daemon[2430]: Withdrawing address record for
10.0.0.25 on eth1.
Oct  1 16:00:29 george ntpd[2300]: sendto(10.0.0.15): Invalid argument

Pulling and reinserting the USB stick causes it to work again.

Steps to reproduce:
  bring up wireless on USB stick
  lsusb -v
