Hmm, shame on me. My kernel was missing a driver for usb audio :-/ and as
it did not complain about a missing driver (i remember that older kernels
had such a warning for usb devices lacking a supporting driver), i thought
that it had not been recognized correct. But when supplied with a driver
module it is looded upon plugin of the device. So everything seems ok.
I will however attach the relevant part of 'lsusb -v' anyway, and would
be thankful if someone could tell me if in theory linux should support
all the usb "features" of the device, and maybe has a hint how the phone
might communicate with the "window live messenger" and how i could try
to emulate this using linux (i guess libusb would be the way to go?).
