If the drivers don't talk to the hub directly but only to the devices 
then they shouldn't need any changes at all.

The fact that your devices fail to work when plugged into a USB 2.0 hub 
must be caused by something other than the drivers.  Perhaps if you 
provided more information the cause would become apparent.
