Hmmm...  You may need to unbind all of the 2-1:1.* interfaces, not 
just the first one.  Or even more simply, just rmmod snd-usb-audio and 
then modprobe it back a few seconds later.  I should have suggested that 
before.

I don't know what caused those other devices to resume.  Maybe some other 
program was running...
