Hi,

i have a similar card. I somehow figured out that this card in fact has 1k 
sectors, not 512 bytes (i don't remember how, perhaps with a windows tool or 
my palm ...). This happens with at least three different card readers which 
is interesting, because my digital camera when being used as a card reader 
reports the very same card as having only 512 bytes/sector and twice the 
number of total sectors. The card works fine when being read through the 
camera.
