As far as I know, the zr364xx cameras only handle JPEG data. So is it usefull to have V4L1 compatibility since I think older apps won't work with V4L2_PIX_FMT_JPEG palette? FYI, older versions of my driver where only compatible with V4L1 API, but I had to include a JPEG decoder in the driver to provide VIDEO_PALETTE_RGB24... This was ugly and this is why you never saw a patch before ;) Thanks for all your comments, I will submit another version of my patch soon.
