Your cdc_ether.c certainly helped.  I am attaching the latest dmesg,
lsusb, and usbdevices files.  Unfortunately, as you can see from the
latter file, I only have a driver for the comm side of the device, but
none for the data side.

As always, any assistance would be most welcome.
