It's hard to tell exactly what's going on because your dmesg log 
doesn't include timestamps.  (Hint: CONFIG_PRINTK_TIME.)

My impression is that some user program is starting up during the 
suspend and waking up your USB controllers, thereby aborting the 
suspend.  PPC is odd in this respect, because it doesn't freeze tasks 
before suspending.
