The following series of patches makes several improvements to the
reset-resume and USB-persist implementations, as discussed online
during the past few weeks. Among the changes:

A new reset_resume method is added, in place of overloading
        the post_reset method.

Drivers can return error codes during reset handling.

USB-Persist can be controlled on a per-device basis, by means
        of a new sysfs attribute.

The code for performing reset-resumes is simplified and merged
with the code for performing normal resumes, which is also
        simplified.

Suspend and resume handling for root hubs is now completely
separate from that of non-root devices.
