The options are not on the menus, because support is somewhat immature.

If you add to the .config file directly options for
CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_SDDR09 and CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DPCM, then the SM part
will be the second LUN (#1) of the device, accessable as /dev/sdb.

Note that SM support is _really_ immature.  It's read-only, and you have to
unload the usb-storage module if you want to change cards.
