The visor module is the correct one, but development in getting the Palm
m500 and m505 is still being worked on.  Right now it looks like you
will need a combination of the kernel patch I sent out a few weeks ago,
and a modification to the pilot-link package.  That modification is
still being worked on by some pilot-link authors right now.

Sorry about this, but it will happen eventually.

It doesn't help that Palm isn't giving out information on how this all
works, so people are having to reverse engineer it :)
