I recently posted a message about drivers for Buslink hard drives, and
got several useful pointers. So far, none of them have resulted in a
working installation, but for what it's worth, the vendor provides the
following information: they have a driver for RedHat 7.0, kernel 2.2.16,
available only as an rpm file containing a compiled driver. They say
that this version is not open source, and I have found that it will not
work with my 2.2.19 kernel on Slackware 8.0. However, they are going to
publish an open source version soon, targeted at RedHat 7.1.

The 2.2.16 rpm is available from the helpful support folks at
mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED], or maybe their website http://www.buslink.com.
Perhaps if enough people ping them, they will put more priority on this
driver.
