Hello everyone, I just joined the list as I have a specific question that I am looking for an answer to:
I have a Panasonic PalmCam LS-120 camera. There is a very simple one-line patch to let the camera be recognized as a valid and supported USB device that I have found at: http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdv.php3?id=461 I would like to not have to remember to patch my kernel after every upgrade :). This patch has worked perfectly for me over the last 6 months or so that I have been using it and I would like to see it included in the mainstream USB distribution/Linux kernel. What is the procedure for submitting this for inclusion? Does anyone know if there is a reason why it hasn't already been included? Should I just send a patch to the Linux-USB maintainer? Thanks in advance for the help, Sean -- Sean E.
