I just use it with KDE not with Gnome because RH PPP dialer doesn't know about /dev/usb/ttyACM0 or /dev/modem ( I don't check newer version yet). KPPP knows /dev/modem so you just make a symlink from /dev/usb/ttyACM0 to /dev/modem and it will works. There is a thread from this list about this modem (as far as I know). Please check mail form Mr. Miguel Angelo Rozsas which is sent at September 05, 2001. He test it with RH7.1 also
