I have a simple tech ucf-500 cf reader; I can't write to it.
I'm running kernel 2.4.17; I set everything up correctly (I assume) and
I can mount it and read from it. There are some oddities though:
instead of appearing in /proc/scsi/scsi as a "simple tech/datafab CF+SM
reader" it shows up as a "Datafab MDCFE-B USB CF Reader".
When I mount it, I see some files I put there using win2k, plus a bunch
of junk files with names consisting of wierd characters (like
"????j(j?.e+1").
I also get errors when writing to it, saying that it is write only. (I
mount it with "mount -wt vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt").

Does anyone know how to set this up so I can write to it? Any help is
appreciated.

Chris H.
