Hi,
I have an usb problem. It seems like my machine doesn't react when I plug in
usb-devices. I have tried with both a modem and a printer. I have compiled a
kernel (2.4.18) with usb-support, preliminary usb file system, UHCI (both, i
have VIA Apollo chipset), modem-, printer- and scanner-support. What could
be compiled as a module I have compiled as a module.

When I look in the directory /proc/bus/usb I have two files, devices and
drivers. devices is empty, but drivers look like this:

 usbdevfs
 hub
 acm

Do anyone know the answer?

Thanks alot in advance,
Espen

(The devices I have tried to connect are "Jensen 56K USB Internet Modem" and
"HP PhotoSmart P1000")
