I've been there. I just did not noticed the FAQ.

Well, I installed kernel 2.4.18, compiled USB (OHCI) support in, usb printer
support also. And I still can't make the printer print anything.
I found:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Epson-Stylus_C20UX
that says C20UX work near perfection and it should accept ASCII characters.
But 'ls | todos>/dev/usb/lp0' do nothing.

What am I doing wrong?
