Hello,

I'm wondering - is it possible for a usb camera to be incompatible with the
usb chip on the motherboard?

The kamera is a HP 618, the motherboard an ABIT KG7-Raid with

00:07.2 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C586B USB (rev 1a) (prog-if
00 [UHCI])
        Subsystem: Unknown device 0925:1234
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 4
        I/O ports at d800 [size=32]
Capabilities: [80] Power Management version 2

as USB controller.

A SanDisk usb cardreader works great. The cam works great on my laptop.

Is this possible???

Thanks!

DK
