Hello again. I'm in the market for a high-end scanner that will handle film too. The Epson 2450 looks like a good match for what I need [1].
http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdevcat.php?id=5&o=20&w=t&s=v&d=a does not list it as being supported, but http://www.mostang.com/sane/sane-backends.html claims that it IS supported. Can anyone confirm one way or the other before I spend all that money? Or, can anyone recommend a similarly high-quality scanner that is known to work 100% reliably with Linux (and hopefully USB 2.0)?
