I am currently running SuSE 7.0 (2.2.16 kernel) I need to use my cellphone
(motorola v66e) to access the internet. The phone is picked up by the system
but says no driver owns it.

I am trying to use 2.4.18 but am having trouble with getting pppd to work
(another story) the feedback to /proc/bus/usb gives the read out on the phone
and according to all the info I have it is a standard acm compatable modem.

I know that the phone is GPRS available, but i do not want touse that i just
want to use it as amodem with wvdial. How do i get the acm to acknowledge the
modem? I have put the phone particulars usb.ids.
