Since the info seems a bit sparse I added an entry
to drivers/usb/scanner.h

Now I get:

usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x3f0/0x901) is not
claimed by any active driver.
usb.c: registered new driver usbscanner
scanner.c: 0.4.6:USB Scanner Driver

Later I get:

/etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Setup scanner for USB product
3f0/901/100
/etc/hotplug/usb.agent: missing kernel or user mode
driver scanner
scannerdrake[665]: ### Program is starting ###
scannerdrake[665]: unknown line 1549 ( #for hardware
detection)

This is just the 2.4.18-8.1mdk kernel. I guess I need
to figure out how the hotplug stuff works now. Any
suggestions?

Thanks for the help

-Eli
