Hello! This should maybe go to usb-devel but hopefully no one will kick me of the list for it.
I think that there is a memory leak in usb-uhci (2.4.18, 2.4.19). I am pretty sure there is. After some extensive testing with a custom usb driver/device I tried to rmmod usb-uhci. I got /var/log/messages full of: Nov 26 17:38:58 equinoxe kernel: pci_pool_destroy 00:11.4/uhci_desc, c2d6f000 busy With different addresses of course. Before that, during the testing, my driver sends roughly 268 interrupt urbs per second, and receives 266 of them. Each urb had exactly 8 bytes packet size. Memory usage increases by around 16k per second. With uhci, no such problems! Any knowledge/info about that?
