Hi,

I have a Sony CRXP-90MU USB 2.0 CD-ROM/CD-RW/DVD-ROM device with a built-in Memory Stick slot. Now the CD devices is correctly recognised and configured by my Linux 2.4.20 kernel:

From /proc/scsi/scsi:

Host: scsi3 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: SONY Model: CD-RW CRXP-90MU Rev: 1.0a
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02

$ more /proc/scsi/usb-storage-0/3
Host scsi3: usb-storage
Vendor: Sony
Product: CRXP-90MU
Serial Number: 000003000273
Protocol: 8020i
Transport: Bulk
GUID: 054c00a70000000003000273
Attached: Yes

However, the Memory Stick slot is *not* appearing. I have tried configuring my SCSI subsytem to scan for multiple LUNs, and have tried probing for them by hand:

# echo "scsi add-single-device 3 0 0 1" > /proc/scsi/scsi

No luck. Then I tried adding extra devices (such as the ISD200) to the Mass Storage module, but learnt that the ISD200 is actually a USB device in its own right rather than a transparent bridge, and so had no luck there either.

Can anyone suggest anything else that I could try, please? I have tried adding an entry to the unusual_devs.h file, but am guessing almost blind with the values. The Win2000 .INF file does imply that the CRXP-90MU has only a single (Vendor ID, Product ID) pair of (0x54c, 0xa7), and so doesn't this mean that the Unusual Device entry would have to cover BOTH the CD and the Memory Stick devices?

Any assistance gratefully received,
Cheers,
Chris Rankin
