Hi ALL, Am a linux newbie. I have an HID compliant device I need to communicate to it using the hiddev ioctl's. I have set the built in flag in the config and compiled the kernel but the hiddev.o is not getting loaded. Can anyone please tell me how to make the hiddev.o to get loaded so that I can send the ioctls to my device which is getting enumerated as an HID device.
thanks in advance. regards, shivas -----Original Message----- From: Luke Corkill [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2003 4:22 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Linux-usb-users] Trust 120 Spacec@m usb-webcam Does anyone have any experience with the USB webcams made by Trust.com? I've recently acquired a Trust 120 Spacecam - http://trust.com/13177 Looking on the Linux-usb website ( http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/search_res.php?pattern=trust ), quite a few Trust webcams are supported, based on the cpia driver. usbview gives the vendor id: 06a5 as and product id: d800, with the device described as unknown. I'm guessing its a therefore a relatively new product. I've had a quick play with the camera, trying to get it to work with Linux, but not made much progress. I can load the cpia and video modules okay, but haven't got much further. Does anyone have any experience of this product, or any pointers on getting it going.
