Hi all,
I've got a Canon ZR50 Digital Camcorder with both a FireWire and a USB
port. I can talk to it over the FireWire using Kino, but it's not
perfect.
My system is a Dell Precision 610MT dual Xeon 550mhz system, 440BX
chipset, 768mb of RAM, Linux-2.4.21-pre3-ac3 (fairly bleeding edge...)
and I have both a pair of builtin USB ports, along with an Adaptec
DuoConnect AUA-3121 FireWire/USB 2.0 PCI board installed. The canon
is plugged into the onboard USB ports, I have a CompactFlash reader
plugged into the AUA-3121 and it works just fine. Kudos to all the
developers who have made this just work!
I can see the Canon sorta, and it's listed as a USB-Storage, and I get
the device tree built in /proc/scsi/usb-storage-1/4, when I cat it,
here's what I see:
