I would LIKE to give my users a 'mount' script that would
allow them to mount either a usb-key or a usb-disk.

As it stands, the SCSI port that the key or disk appear on
depends on which was mounted first, so a simple script does
not work.

>From what I can tell the information in /proc/scsi is also
unreliable in 2.4.18 and 2.4.19, so you can't look there for
help.

    (1) Has anyone else successfully addressed this problem?

    (2) Does the information in /proc/scsi have any relation
to reality in a LATER (2.4.20?) (2.5.x) kernel?
