My contribution has been to try to provide debugging information. See below. I am very grateful for the work that has been done to get things as far as they are. > > Of course there are problems with experimental stuff, but I don't > think it's fair to say you're being ignored, everyone has time > pressures and none more so than the developers on the usb project. Well, I've been reporting the same problem for months (the first time was http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=1790897). I've asked several times for information on how I can troubleshoot the problem (in other words, what can I do to help figure out the source of the problem so the developers can figure it out more quickly). When that is met with silence, what can I do? (http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=2587658). I've tried all the things I can think of and reported them to this list. I really would like to help. I know this problem doesn't just affect me. I can spend (and have spent) hours on this, but if someone tells me that the only way to fix it is for me to provide a patch, I simply can't provide that. At least not until I get 36 hour days and don't have to work my current job to provide for my family. I have received a few responses (so it hasn't been total silence), but so far none of them has solved the problem. I am very grateful to those who have provided suggestions for me to try, and I try to respond in kind when others have questions I can answer. I am currently trying a few things with someone through private e-mail, but so far I haven't found a solution. I keep bringing this up because I occasionally get private e-mail from people asking me if I have found a solution, and my reply is always "no".
