Hi,
maybe I'm trying just something silly. I'm in the progress of upgrading my system to a new MoBo (USB 2.0). As I have not yet received all parts I tried to use a USB 2.0 hub with my old MoBo (USB 1.1 only). The configuration is given below.
The 2.0 HUB gets recognized but all devices attached to it fail to set up (see syslog below). The devices are working properly on a USB 1.1 hub.
Is it just impossible to use a USB 2.0 hub in a USB 1.1 environment or could there be a hardware/software problem?
