I recently installed Linux to replace Win98SE, and found that there is no built-in support for a Palm connected through the USB port. I know that the Palm Zire is fairly new, and that older Palms were connected through the serial port using a cradle, and that support for them is built into the Red Hat package. Does anyone know of a driver for the Palm Zire on the USB port?

I am running a Pentium III at 700MHZ using Red Hat Linux 8.0 with kernel 2.4.18-14.

Thanks for any suggestions.
