Hy to all,
first of all, I apologize for my ignorance (and for my english too...) and,
if you consider my mail not to be sent, please tell me. It is the first
time I ask help in a mailing list.
I bought an external usb 2.0 enclosure for 2,5 inches IDE hard disk. I
have Mandrake 9.0. It seems to recognize the drive but i can't mount it. If
I use the utility of mandrake for partitioning disks, it sees the drive,
its dimension ecc. but it doesn't see the partition (that windows sees -
fat 32) and it can't modify it; if I delete the existing one in order to
make another new one, it tell me that it can't write the partition table.
The disk is a normal hitachi 2,5 inches disk put in the usb 2.0 enclsure
of the factory named "Manhattan".
What can I do in order to make it working? I looked for in internet but I
didn't find anything... |:<(
Thank you
Stefano
