hi all Now i know this isnt eactly the right list, but seeing as one thing i am asking about is usb... :P
I have seen two versions available (usb and pci) and I was wondering: - a) which would be better on an old system the PCI 3060 or the USB version? old being a 200 meg pentium. b) what is the driver situation/status with regards to the usb version? I have seen numerous posts recently about the usb speedtouch. c) As I'm in the UK is there any issues/caveats I need to look out for in getting the usb version (or even the pci one) working on nildram A/DSL here in the uk. d) what general experiences and speeds have people had with the speedtouch. I am hopefully (subject to onsite survey) getting DSL from nildram by the end of this month So i need to get a modem quite quickly.
