Does anyone know how to map multiple keyboards as seperate devices? I installed two USB mice and two USB keyboards on my i686 system running Red Hat 8.0, Linux kernel 2.4.18-14smp. I want them as seperate devices, i.e. not mixed.
The mice are handled OK, they are all mapped to /dev/input/mice and, individually to /dev/input/mouse0 and /dev/input/mouse1. The keyboards, however, all get mapped to /dev/tty0, along with the ps2 keyboard, and nowhere else I could find. thanks for any advice you may have, -- John Klingler Jupiter Systems, Inc.
