I don't  know what exactly  went wrong, but  I compiled the  kernel once
again and  now... works :)  I hope it will work for the Palm too :))

I compiled the kernel several times to try solving the problem (with and
without modules) and I don't remember exactly the sequence. I'm sorry if
the question is stupid; does the last compile action have anything to do
with the file /proc/bus/usb/drivers?

A last question; now the rc.sysinit try  at the boot to load the modules
keydev and  mousedev that does not  exist anymore and fill  of errors my
boot log; how may I correct it?
