some days ago I asked for info about the APC back-ups RS 500, because
2.4.21-rc7 doesn't seem to support it. In fact, no hiddev is created in /dev
(I have devfs), and syslog reports that no driver is claiming it. I already
sent to this list the contents of /proc/bus/usb/devices.
I now tried with 2.5.70, only to see if it could something more, not that I
want to use an unstable kernel, but anyway it remains the same.
Could somebody tell me if it's possible to support this model, or if I have to
search for another type of UPS?
