Then I'm well enough not up to date with it to help you.  Maybe someone
else here will be, but you might be faced with doing serious research.
That's easier than it used to be.  :)

You have any experience with microwave stuff?  You can't just "throw
it onto a board", your traces have to be transmission lines, the
impedances have to match, all the nanoseconds add up, etc. etc...

Otherwise the components that give you a kilometer range on one board
will struggle to get to the end of the hall on another.  Drifting way
OT now, sorry.
