Gurus
I am using Linux V.9 and I have a small usb to serial
converter as my laptop doesnt have a serial port, and
for that reason , I have to use that converter, My usb
converter of this type HP USB Converter MT608-2
S/N 2001/Q4. When I connect that usb converter and
attach my mouse nothing happened at all, and only i
can use the mouse via the laptop touch pad.
Sometime back Greg replied to my email asking for the
following content when attaching my usb serial :

Greg has asked my to edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config , I
tried but no luck. Here is the XF86Config mouse part :
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "PS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
EndSection
Section "InputDevice"
# If the normal CorePointer mouse is not a USB mouse
then
# this input device can be used in AlwaysCore mode to
let you
# also use USB mice at the same time.
Identifier "DevInputMice"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
EndSection
Appreciate if someone help me sorting our this
